5 folks have been killed and one individual wounded in a capturing in Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, police say.
The capturing occurred at Or Tor Kor Market within the Bang Sue district of northern Bangkok at 12:31pm (05:31 GMT) on Monday, the Royal Thai Police mentioned.
All 5 of the deceased victims have been safety guards on the market, and the suspected perpetrator took his personal life, in response to police.
“Police are investigating the motive. Up to now, it’s a mass capturing,” Worapat Sukthai, deputy police chief within the Bang Sue district, was quoted as telling the AFP information company.
The police are working to establish the suspect and investigating “any doable hyperlink” to the present border clashes between Thailand and Cambodia, the official mentioned.
