Crimson Bull boss exits the staff after a stellar 20 years that yielded eight System One Drivers’ World Championships.
Crimson Bull have sacked staff principal Christian Horner and appointed Laurent Mekies because the Briton’s substitute, the System One staff introduced.
The 51-year-old Horner was the longest-serving staff principal, having been within the place since Crimson Bull made its System One debut in 2005.
Frenchman Mekies joins from Crimson Bull’s sister staff Racing Bulls. Alan Permane, at present Racing Director, will likely be promoted to staff principal at Racing Bulls.
